Environmental Scientist

Go Back

Letter to Employers:
December 26, 2004

To Water Quality Engineers/Planners:
I am looking for work with a company or organization that will assist my development as an environmental scientist in water resources management. As an entry level scientist, I am ready to explore various positions within freshwater or wastewater management projects.
So far my experience in the field of water management includes; analysis of salinity levels in the Sacramento San Joaquin Delta, analysis of wetland assimilation rates, and onsite raw water sampling in the Contra Costa canal. While completing a BA in Environmental Studies, I was also training as a prospective civil engineer at the University of California in Santa Cruz first, then in Berkeley. With four years of engineering preparatory coursework and a 2-year internship at the Contra Costa Water District, I am confident in undertaking assignments requiring detailed and precise work. I am a team player, fast learner, and will prudently take directions from the team leaders.
Given my past experience, I am positive I will be a valuable asset to your team. Please review my resume, and let me know when time will permit for me to meet with you and discuss my credentials in further detail.

Sincerely,
Kinja Liautaud
