- Work experience and graduate study with desalination and physical treatment processes (membrane processes, ion exchange resins and activated carbon.)
- Hydraulic design and distribution system experience. Hydraulic calculations, pump curves, chemical dosing systems, drawings, specifications, and installation.
- Water quality and regulatory compliance. Monitoring, sampling, drafting reports and SOP¡¦s as well as procuring NSF certified chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Water resource and portfolio forecasting. Iterative optimization of drinking water supplies to more cost-effectively meet demand. Hydraulic modeling and mapping.

Hired to conduct a reverse osmosis pilot study to fulfill a contract with the California Energy Commission as a member of the Desalination Research and Innovation Partnership (DRIP).
- Designed and procured a 40 GPM dual-train reverse osmosis pilot unit.
- Developed and submitted a test plan to the California Energy Commission.
- Managed project, including all RO unit operation, startup, SOP¡¦s, data normalization, membrane cleaning, monthly reports, final report, and budget.

Assisted on other projects including the following.
- Conducted water resource planning, forecasting and modeling.
- Performed various water quality compliance tasks including NPDES sampling, DBP monitoring, regulatory compliance reports, and QA/QC reports.
- Performed various engineering tasks including hydraulic design, pump selection, treatment design, etc. for groundwater recharge and membrane treatment plants.
