· Developed a pending patent on a joint venture with European based company for “Hydro-Metallurgical & Catalytic Electro-Accelerator (HMCEA) also known as Leaching & Neutralization Process.

Engineering Consultant (Part time)

· Provide engineering services for the water and wastewater treatment plant at Inphenix Semiconductor, Livermore, CA.
· Provide engineering & technical services for project & construction management related to Housing Development Project in Livermore, CA.
· Develop client’s project specification and report in order to provide architectural and engineering contract services for the Housing Project.
· Conduct negotiations with various contractors, suppliers and financial institutions regarding the project construction.

IDT Industrial Corporation, Oakland, CA 8/92 – 7/03
International Sales Engineer (6/96 – 7/03)

· Directed the international sales & marketing activities of the water and wastewater product line.
· Reviewed customer specifications and analyzed incoming request for quotations to determine the company’s ability to bid on projects.
· Provided engineering assistance on preliminary design, field operations, product development & service strategy for winning opportunities against competitors.
· Responsible for all aspects of systems design work including process flow diagram, plant layout, pump stations, pipe design, tanks, instrumentation & controls and system cost estimates.
· Performed detailed equipment design engineering including sizing and materials of construction, and manufacturing of the equipment.
· Secured five large international contracts for capital and chemicals sales including service and aftermarket requirements for the industrial water and wastewater chemicals such as coagulants, flocculants, biocides & algaecides, scale & corrosion inhibitors, scavengers for boiler and cooling tower applications and among others at Intel Manila, Cypress Semiconductor, Integrated Device Technology, Victoria Sugar Mills, and Procter & Gamble Philippines. The contracts also involved project and construction management services, operation and maintenance including environmental issues (e.g., power plant's rehabilitation water treatment facilities for Caltex Refinery-Philippines (Chevron-Texaco).
· Total annual chemical value sold - $1 million
· Subcontract for the construction of 400,000 gallons per day municipal water supply for a small community using Reverse Osmosis system.
· Provided labor and materials for the operation of the high purity water and wastewater treatment plants located in the Philippines such as Intel, Cypress Semiconductor, Integrated Device Technology and Procter & Gamble including emergency services and long term outsourcing contracts.
· Developed a pending patent on a joint venture with a European based company for Hydro-Metallurgical & Catalytic Electro-Accelerator also known as "Leaching & Neutralization Process" which is currently used by the semiconductor & electronics & other industries in terms of industrial waste for treating heavy metals, BOD, COD and sludge in compliance with US-EPA, State and local ordinance.
· Involved in technical training programs and produced procedural manuals for equipment installation, operation and maintenance as well as system start-up and commissioning.

Project Engineer (8/92 – 5/96)

· Secured small to medium contract engineering projects at Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) for project & construction management for several gas station facilities. This includes gas compressor stations, gas pipelines and gas transmission/distribution.
· Prepared system designs including materials take off, cost estimates, procurement of major equipment, field construction specs and operating instruction manuals, inspection, and provided as-built drawing package.
· Provided engineering design services to Pacific Gas Transmission (PGT) for the gas compressor stations and gas pipelines in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and California.
· Assisted in design and construction of the water treatment plant (Reverse Osmosis & De-ionization system) of the Co-generation plant facilities both Chevron Refinery in Richmond, CA and PG&E’s Gerber gas station.
· Managed contracts for HIVAC Technology, to review, evaluate, execute the electro-mechanical components’ design involving thin film deposition system, sputtering target materials, oil filtration systems, and other related vacuum systems.

Engineering/Design Services Inc., Walnut Creek, CA 6/89 – 7/92
Mechanical Engineer

· Contracted as Seconded Engineer to Pacific Gas & Electric Company, a major utility company in Northern California to perform various aspects of engineering, which included technical support for the operation & maintenance of the gas compressor stations, natural gas pipeline, transmission & distribution.
· Directed the regulatory agency approval for obtaining air permit from the San Bernandino County Air Pollution Control District in Los Angeles, CA.
· Generated Request for Quotations (RFQ) and interfaced with procurement to evaluate vendor quotes.
· Conducted negotiations with various vendors in terms of job contracts and prepared station operating and instruction manuals.

Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, Menlo Park, CA 4/87 – 5/89
Facilities Design Engineer

· Provided design construction drawings for bid packages in support of new facilities such as cooling tower, water chiller, De-ionized and wastewater treatment, lift stations, process piping, HVAC and pump packages.
· Maintained as-built drawings of existing facilities.

· Managed the mechanical engineering group for initial design, cost estimates and fabrication of specialty gas equipment, prototype & pilot rigs used for various semiconductors’ application.
· Supervised the CADD group and maintained all drawing files and engineering library.
· Involved in research and development with the company's Chemical Resistance Chart Guide based on practical field experience and actual laboratory testing conducted by the manufacturers of various materials such as metals, polymers and thermoplastics.
