Daily routine maintenance and emergency repairs of most instrumentation associated
with wastewater treatment plant operation. Duties included repairs, modifications,
preventative maintenance, drawing updates, and job planning. Areas worked included

EnTech’s process control training, equipment, & services to assist
paper companies to greatly reduce product variably (profit improvement) created
by control system design and implementation. Performed detailed “loop” & “area” control
performance tuning audits for various customers.
Senior Account Manger - Foxboro Canada Inc., Thunder Bay, ON July 1996 – Oct.
1997
Influential in major DCS application sales, utilizing quality control experience
and application skills. Top account manager in the Central Canadian Region,
exceeding my budget of $6.5 million. I was also employed with Foxboro as a
Sales Engineer in Calgary Alberta for the period of 1983 to 1985, covering
the oil, gas, and petrochemical industry, during which I was the top Sales
Engineer in the region. Successful campaigns included a first sale of a DCS
(Spectrum) system between Fluor and Foxboro in many years as well as magmeter
application and pneumatic controller projects.

I held 4 positions in applications, sales and sales support. Responsibilities
included system support, system variability reporting, direct sales, product
design & management, and applied engineering of specific products (development,
testing, application, set-up and reporting of new sensor systems and products),
setting up and documenting quality control systems, documentation design and
layout of SCADA systems, setting standard product costing, and proposal costing,
applications, & generation, pricing and preparation of DCS/QCS system quotations,
pre & post sales support, and application engineering reports).

Duties included pre-sales engineering, sales, and after sales start-up. Much
of the time was allocated to the development of new key accounts and principle
product growth of this newly formed, and continued successful instrumentation & controls
representative company. Technical expertise in instrumentation was used extensively.

1983
Responsibilities included setting up and presenting monthly 3-day client schools
for P.L.C.’s, assisting engineering of systems, and sales of A-B P.L.C.’s.
In 2 years took Allen-Bradley P.L.C.’s from a virtual unknown player
to the Alberta market leader. Instrumental first worldwide PLC application
sale to a major Petro–Chemical customer, which in turn led to the first
million dollar PLC system sale in Alberta.
