Environmental Engineer Go Back Letter to Employers: I am an engineer with over 20 years experience in the field of water, sanitation and environment. I hold a master degree in Irrigation Engineering from the American University of Beirut and a master in Environmental Engineering from McGill University, Montreal – Canada. I am fully trilingual in Arabic, French and English and have good expertise in computer softwares. During my professional career, I have held both technical and managerial positions in international agencies, governmental organizations and consulting firms. In Dar Al-Handassah Consultants–Shair and Partners, I was an associate of the firm taking management positions and leading teams for multi-disciplinary projects in various countries in the Middle East such as Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, etc. My work encompassed the various design stages from project planning to feasibility studies, detailed engineering designs, preparation of tender documents and construction supervision for infrastructure projects. For two years, I acted as the project manager of the UNDP Capacity 21 program for strengthening the Lebanese Ministry of Environment, a position that required planning, management, monitoring and evaluation of activities.
